A new Beta version of the The Shrew Soft VPN client is now available for download. Changes include fixes for a few critical bugs identified shortly after the last release, many minor bug fixes and full support for delete payload handling. This release is definitely the most stable and functional to date, so please upgrade any previous installations. The Shrew Soft VPN client now supports all features planned for the 1.0 release. A lot of work was done to bring it in line with the ipsec-tools CVS version. This includes support for new XAuth user authentication methods as well as automatic policy configuration using the extended modecfg facility.
